Ordering & Shipping

How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Shipping times vary based on location and carrier. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

Do you ship outside the United States?
At this time, we primarily ship within the United States. If you’re outside the U.S. and interested in ordering, please contact us directly via email Sales@OceanBuilt.shop before purchasing.

Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order has not yet shipped, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate changes. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be modified or canceled.

Do you accept returns?
Yes. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unused items in original condition.
Once a product has been used or exposed to saltwater, bait, debris, or marine life, it cannot be restocked and is not eligible for return.

Where should I place my trap?
Successful placement depends on species:
Crab traps: docks, bridges, channels, flats, and structure
Pinfish traps: grass edges, docks, bridge pilings, calm structure
Position trap entrances facing the current when possible.

How do I maintain my trap?
To extend the life of your trap:
Rinse with fresh water after each use
Inspect bungees, doors, and escape rings regularly
Replace worn components as needed
Store traps in a dry, shaded area
Routine maintenance improves performance and longevity.

Yes. Minor variations in wire, coating, or finish are normal and do not affect performance or durability. These variations do not constitute defects.
